11/27/2023 0 Comments Party planner jobs dallas![]() ![]() ~Searches for and advises on possible partnership opportunities with community organizations, businesses, Chamber of Commerce, other governmental agencies, neighborhood associations, school district, media outlets and other service agencies. ~Lead the Special Event application and approval process, aiding in the approval or denial of partnered and permitted events. ~Processes all internal/external requests for the rental and use of the Community Room at the Red Oak Government Center maintain a master calendar execute rental agreements collect associated fees ensure proper use per City and/or Department policies and procedure communicate needed maintenance and repairs. Helps evaluate each event to ensure goals are met and what adjustments should be made. ~Researches and evaluates trends and changes in the community to develop new events or modify existing programming based on department and division goals and community needs. ~Coordinate social media messaging, website updates, and creation of logos, advertisements, brochures, flyers, and other promotional material for all city events and programs. ~Solicits sponsors by contacting local and regional businesses and organizations for financial support and participation. ~As needed, assists other departments (parks, HR, public safety) with the coordination of internal employee events and external community events and/or programs. ~Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with employees across various departments, citizens, community groups, and businesses for the purpose of promoting, supporting, and coordinating special events and community programming. ~Coordinate event logistics, programming, personnel, entertainment, contractors, volunteers, and vendors, obtain required license agreements and permits, and ensure compliance with applicable standards for community events including but not limited to Red Oak White & Blue, Fall Festival, and Christmas in Red Oak. ~Facilitate and increase community engagement through various outreach events, community programs, and educational activities. ![]() Hours vary and may require occasional work on evenings and weekends.Īttendance of all City of Red Oak sponsored and partnered community events is required. The work involves performing a variety of complex tasks, and requires problem solving, independent judgment, discretion, and due diligence in the performance of job duties and responsibilities, as well as sound interpretation of local, state, and federal policies and regulations. The coordinator is responsible for building strategic and collaborative relationships with department staff, vendors, external organizations, community-based organizations, and other stakeholders to successfully plan, communicate, and facilitate events and programs within the City of Red Oak.
